First track off the album "Camp". I know people loved Freaks and Geeks but man this is so much better. At least to me. Dude comes so raw with it this time, and his flow has almost completely changed.

This will be the second album I cared enough to pay for this year. Looking forward to it in November.

Welcome to the Macross Delta Review/Impressions series that I totally don't really have the time to do.   I'll try to keep these weekly, which means I should be doing episode 3 by Thursday and keep the rest done on a "by Tuesday" basis. Walkure Thoughts : Yes, Mikumo is totally the header image because she's my favorite out of the group.  She's basically Sheryl Norme with an even bigger flair for the dramatic, and she's totally going to end up my favorite character...y'know, provided she doesn't become a secret traitor later in the series.  (That's totally going to happen, isn't it?)   Also, the Walkure symbol is totally the Westside gang sign.  Just saying. Also: Judging by what I've seen online, Ikenai Borderline is already anisong of 2016.  I'm already upset the actual single hasn't dropped yet.   On to the review!

Anime Flashback: Flame of Recca

Flame of Recca's another show I started over the summer. I'd been meaning to watch for quite sometime, but it just wasn't a big priority. The manga was one of the first ones I read as a teenager when I got my first computer, and to this day it's still a favorite of mine. The anime, however, finished ages before the manga, and I was never a fan of incomplete adaptations. Particularly when the final arc is omitted, leaving the anime a shadow of it's manga. Still, I had to see what they'd done to it, so I gave the series a shot. Series synopsis as described by AniDB: Recca Hanabishi is a ninja, but is nearly killed in an accident. However, a girl named Yanagi heals him with her powers. Later, the two are tracked down by a woman who attacks them. She tells Recca to ignite his flame, but he is clueless. A Little Bit of Courage Volume 2: It's a Robot! A Goddamn Robot!

So, there's been a title change.  It's might be the most obvious title possible, but it fits far too well for me to toss it.  Anyhow, when we stopped at the end of volume one , Negima was still a fairly standard harem series.  There's lots of cute girls and the series is literally drowning in fanservice, with boob size contests and every girl getting upskirted everytime Negi sneezes.  Volume two is where Ken tries to make some slight changes to the formula, carefully introducing some fringe shonen tropes.
